Artist

Marco Fedi was born in the artistic cradle of Florence in 1963. He pursued his passion for fine craftsmanship at the prestigious College of Art in Florence, excelling in his studies with a major focus on jewelry design.

After completing his education, Marco sought to immerse himself in the rich heritage of Florentine metalwork. He began his journey in a historic silverware workshop in the heart of Florence, a city renowned for its illustrious tradition in precious metal craftsmanship. Here, Marco mastered the ancient techniques of working with gold, silver, copper, brass, iron, and bronze, bringing his creative visions to life through the art of chiseling.

Driven by a desire for independence, Marco established his own “bottega,” which quickly became a revered establishment in Florence. His clients included corporate entities, antique dealers, public administrations, and the clergy, all seeking his unparalleled craftsmanship.

In 2020, Marco’s expertise was recognized internationally when he was invited to teach a master course in chiseling at the Escola Massana in Barcelona.

Among his notable masterpieces are:

  • The silver reliquary of Sant’Antonino in the Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo) in Florence.
  • The commemorative medal for the 700th anniversary of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore.
  • A special medal for the European Council held in Florence in 1996.
  • The base of the monstrance offered to Pope John Paul II.

When Andrea Pacini approached Marco to collaborate on the creation of K-OVER, Marco embraced the opportunity to blend his classical skills with modern design. He brought his passion for innovation to the forefront, designing many of K-OVER’s exquisite covers that serve not only as champagne bottle covers but also as luxurious, complementary accessories.

Since 2024, Marco has dedicated his exceptional talents exclusively to K-OVER, continually pushing the boundaries of high craftsmanship with a contemporary vision.
